Developer has high hopes for new residential community

PLATTSBURGH — Tall Pine Estates is designed as an upscale residential alternative for people 55 and older in the City of Plattsburgh.

Phase 1, featuring four two-story buildings with 32 two- and three-bedroom/two-bath units, is in various degrees of completion.

Started last August, the $9.2 million apartment complex was developed by Tall Pine Estates LLC, a subsidiary of Florida-based Roger B. Kennedy Inc.

“The first building is 90 percent complete,” said Roger B. Kennedy Jr., president.

“The second building is 80 percent complete. We plan to occupy the first building sometime before Memorial Day.”
